Florida ranks number one out of all 50 states for 2023 domestic tourism, welcoming over 129 million visitors from across the states, and 140+ million worldwide!

Last Month, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that tourism to Florida has reached unprecedented levels, solidifying the state's status as a premier destination worldwide. Figures for 2023 show that Florida welcomed over 140.6 million visitors, breaking previous records. Additionally, the first quarter of 2024 saw 40.6 million visitors, the highest ever recorded for a single quarter.

Revised 2023 figures indicate a 2.3% increase from 2022, with 140.6 million visitors setting a new benchmark. Domestic visitors reached an all-time high of 129.1 million, complemented by 8.3 million overseas and 3.2 million Canadian visitors.

The first quarter of 2024 continued this growth trend, with domestic visitation hitting a record 37.2 million. Overseas visitation stood at 2.1 million, and Canadian visitors rose to 1.3 million, culminating in a total of 40.6 million visitors, a 1.2% year-over-year increase.
